I never advice anyone to change the past. Why we should talk about change the past to make our future better? But still on someone’s request I decided to write a letter to my past self on behalf of my future self

My Dear Past Self,

Hope you are doing good and enjoying yourself. I know that you like “to do” lists. I am sure about this. You have my full assurance. In fact you ll have one for each day, one for each week passing by. Hopefully, you will also have one for the rest of your life too.

I know you consider yourself master of your own universe but please do not forget that there is always a sense of accomplishment from being able to chuck out some items off that list. Its a fact that you ll thrive on feeling accomplished.

In front of the world, you show that you are so cool, calm and relaxed during the exams and presentations. But remember one thing, all you need is to win the “to do” lists that is saved in your dictionary. If something is willing to be happened, it will happen and it will not only happen, but it will happen on time.

There is no absolute control on this. No body is imposing any order on you. This is your skill. This is your talent. Your strength. Your power and trust me no one else can take away this from you.

Time will come when the over grown discontentment will fester inside you. There will be no time left for you to crave anymore. I am sure you have understood what I am talking about. You have seen the flashes of my happy life that came only for short period of time.

Do you remember the time when you proposed a girl in front of entire class because you just wanted to? You remember the time when the girl you loved so much married the other guy? You remember the first love whom you made me meet again after so many years?

Trust me these little moments of rebellion will never ever change.

There will be a time when you ll have no plans except to live life to the fullest. You will trust that your life will make a positive change sooner. You will realize that it is not about choosing the right career path in your life or making all your dreams come true. It is actually the process of making yourself happy and to give life a reason for living.

You ll feel like not adjusting yourself in the precise mold but you would like to adjust yourself in the most chaotic moments of your life. This is the part of live where you ll feel yourself alive.

If not this you ll find yourself locked in an isolated room with no light. Give your life a reason of living, not for others, but for your own self. Involve people who wants to see you happy always.

Sincerely,

Your to be Future Self

It was around 5 pm, when a boy walked into a CD store and suddenly saw a sweet and smiling face at the cash counter. She smiled at the boy and the boy just realized that it was the most beautiful smile he has ever seen.

He said, “well.. ummm.. yeah I want to buy a CD on romantic films”.

The girl picked the best CD and gave it to him, he took out the money and paid for the CD.

“Would you like me to wrap it for you Sir?” She asked with a cute smile on her face and her cheeks going all pink. The guy nodded very sweetly and then the girl went back to her counter.

She brought the wrapped CD for him, he took it and went back home. Again he came back the other day, ordered the CD and the girl wrapped him the CD in the similar way she did last time. This happened for almost 10 days. Everyday the guy used to come to buy a CD so that he can get a glance of her dream girl.

He was a shy guy and was afraid to ask her out. One day his mom came to know about this and motivated her son to ask her out.

The next day, the guy decided that today he ll definitely ask her out. So he went with all the courage in the mind, ordered the CD and the girl brought back the CD wrapped in a gift wrapper in the similar fashion she has been doing since 15 days now.

When she was not at the counter, the guy wrote his phone number on a paper and left that at her desk and ran away.

He decided that if she doesn’t calls him this time he ll commit suicide.

!!! Tring Tring!!!

The mother picked up the phone. Girl said, “Its me, can I speak with him?” His mother in a low voice, crying loudly, “Don’t you know baby, he passed away yesterday”. There was a moment of silence at both the places. Only thing which can be heard was boy’s mother crying.

The day passed by. His mom decided that she ll remember her son. She went to his closet where he used to keep his CD’s. She decided that she ll start off by looking at his clothes. As she opened the closet she found piles and piles of CDs wrapped there. She decided to open the wrappers one by one.

As soon as she opened the 5th CD, there was a piece of paper wrapped inside.

It said, “Hello boy, I think you are really cute, would you like to go for a coffee with me, love Mellissa”

Then his mom opened another CD and again found a piece of paper.

It said the same thing, “ello boy, I think you are really cute, would you like to go for a coffee with me, love Mellissa”

So basically the girl gave him the signal in the very first CD that she wrapped for him but the poor guy never opened the wrapper.

Yet again a tragic love story!!!

SEO is no longer easy and simpler. New SEO trends have entered the market massively and your responsibilities towards your website has increased. So how is it possible to keep up the pace with such increasing trends?

I can with my experience in SEO have discussed 10 most important changes that you ll witness and which you cannot ignore at any cost, obviously if you want higher rankings.

Panda, Scraper and Farmer Updates

Often Google makes changes in its algorithm but most of the people don’t notice these changes. You probably notice the change only when Google rolled out its Panda or Farmer update.

Google guaranteed that these changes would impact 12-15% of search results, at least in United States. The sites that provided high quality content were awarded because of this and those who were link farm content sites got penalized massively.

The best example here is mahalo.com. This website ranked for more than 30K keywords before the update and only 9K keywords after the Panda update i.e. more than 70%. Before the update mahalo.com ranked with Zealand Air, digg, etc in top 10 and after the update they fell out of top 200 results also.

Also, the Scraper update that entered the market a year later, targeted only the scraper sites. Matt Cutts has always tried to eliminate those sites who copy original content from others or have a poor quality articles written in their sites.

This change was brought in the lime light only to show searchers the fresh and original content rather than the scraped and duplicate content.

Caffeine, Google’s new search index

Google offered the largest number of web content than anyone else can think of with the help of Caffeine which is an SEO change. It allowed more than 45% of fresher results for web searches.

Google confirmed that this was not an algorithm change but a revamped version on the way they index. With the image below you might get a clear cut idea.

We can clearly see that the older index was in the form of layers. So the upper layers were indexed very quickly, but the layers at the bottom took significant time in showing the results. With the help of caffeine, Google can now analyze the web in small batches and it is updated on a regular basis. So basically every new page can be easily added directly to the index. Searchers can now find fresher information much faster and easily.

Unexpected changes in SERP

Caffeine really brought significant changes in the search results. It started offering wider range of content to the searchers. Before caffeine was introduced in the lime light, Google used the standard version of showing results, something like this:

After caffeine was introduced, we get to see something like this:

The best part about this version is that you can change your search focus in whatever way you want depending upon your needs. With so many changes it is really becoming difficult to challenge the game played by Google. Your content needs to be highly optimized in order to get better rankings.

Mayday Update

I don’t know how many of you noticed about this change earlier in 2010. It was not at all a ranking change, but an indexing change. With this update we came to know that sites which are getting less or no traffic, they were also getting indexed. E-commerce websites were effected badly because of this change. These sites have loads of item pages that don’t have enough links going to them and are several clicks away from the home page. Also there was no guarantee of quality content on these pages.

It has been checked that these item pages do not get loads of external links and the content for them are generally taken from the database. The Mayday change helping these pages rank better with at least long tail queries.

Merge Between Yahoo and Bing

The merge between the two happened a while ago, but I believe that the SEO is still the same for each one of them. You create original content with targeted keywords and I can guarantee you, both the search engines will love it equally.

Like Google, Bing also puts higher priority on external links though. Always remember that if there is a crawl error in your code errors, it will prevent Bing from indexing your site.

Advice: If you are targeting Bing, then please make sure that your domain name have keywords in it. Good title tags with appropriate keywords are equally important.

It is important to pay attention on these three vital changes that was done by Google in the year 2010-2011. Just because Google has the authority of more than 60% of all the searches, it doesn’t mean we should ignore Bing.

It is vital for you to work your way with these changes to get an idea of where your site is heading to?

With the results, obviously, you can determine your higher priorities.

When it is Bollywood, you ll often hear people saying that film making is nothing less than gambling. And in order to gamble huge any gambler will triumph huge. If we use this logic in Bollywood as well, then I guess Shah Rukh Khan is the Biggest Gambler of this year.

Huge money is invested in Ra.One but what is at stake is, the dreams, visions, an aspiration, a desire to make a film which appeals to every audience in the world and particularly kids and their heart. In short, to make a film which attracts to an universal audience. With this is at stake Shah Rukh’s unchallenged diplomacy as the evergreen idol of Bollywood and also his ever lasting reputation. When anyone invest all his income in his reputation, the result is quite evident i.e. nothing short of a supreme success.

Arjun Rampal as Ra.One in the movie

No doubt, films like ROBOT and KRRISH initiated the idea of super hero movies in Bollywood but Ra.One raises the bar with not only a step or two but by taking a giant leap to match with the international standard obviously in terms of execution. I would like to add that the soul is purely desi in Ra.One. It is one of those movies which is released with both beauty and brains.

What makes a good super hero movie? There are three main constituents for it which are absolutely important for an alluring super hero movie. First, the spectacular thrills and edge of the seat action of the motion picture. Secondly, luminous performances by the actors which should make the characters look very real and credible. Lastly and very importantly, the super hero flicks should have a narrative that keep its super audience yearning for more. These factors in a super hero film are always acclaimed and adore by the fans of every age.

Ra.One is very fortunate to emerge as a triumph and have all the above factors.

It is one of the most expensive, ambitious and technology oriented film ever made in the history of Bollywood. Shah Rukh Khan said in one of his interviews, “It is not only a film for me, it is an event, an experience, it is one of those movies that will write books of computer graphics in Indian Cinema.”

With this movie, it proves a relationship between kids and Shah Rukh to be very high point. A film that is full of clap trap moments. For example, the chase sequence and the entry of a super hero is just awe inspiring. There is one train sequence in the second half which is totally exceptional and vital. More over, the presence of super star Rajnikanth in an very important sequence will be really worth watching with defending claps and whistles. The climax of the film is surely a jaw dropping moment.

Beside these vital factors, we should not forget the “chammak challo” number by Akon which is already on fire. This movie is completely on visual spectacle from scene one till end.

A father (Shekhar as Shah Rukh Khan) tries very hard to fit in his son’s world. Shekhar decides to design a game and finally everything starts falling at one place. But I guess happiness was for a short span of time until when the same game started playing with them.

Movie is Directed by Anubhav Sinha and is co-written by David Benullo, Mushtaq Sheikh and Kanika Dhillon. They ensured that they serve the right masala to movie watchers in those couple of hours.

The songs of the film are awesome and lives up to the great expectations of the audience. Vishal-Shekhar with their electrifying back ground score delivered the great songs including ’Chammak Chhallo’, ‘Dildaara’ and ‘Raftarein’. All the stunts and chase is managed by Andy Gill and Spiro Razatos. Obviously the cinematography is of top notch done by V. Manikandan and Nicola Pecorini. The channel of communication in the entire movie was very entertaining. The suits of Ra.one and G.one is designed by Robert Kurtzman.

Ra.one is one of those movies which has done justice with the talent of SRK. For the first time he found a story that worked in his favor in the perfect sync. He is entertaining as a father and magnificent as a super hero. Kareena Kapoor with all her effort and hard work glides into the role of Shehkar’s wife. In the entire movie, her wit is infectious and she looks stunning in the “chammak chalo” song. Arjun Rampal the real ra.one in the movie has lived upto the expectations of the people and his well designed looks in the movie is just too good.

Okay and lets not forget Armaan Verma, the kid who has an important part to portray in the movie. He was super confident in the entire movie and acts brilliantly with Shah Rukh and Kareena shoulder to shoulder.

Other actors in the film includes Shahana Goswami, Dalip Tahil, Satish Shah, Suresh Menon, etc. To add to the glam quotient were Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra as a guest appearance. Rajnikanth, yet again proves that he is nothing but a scene stealer for any movie.

I still believe that the real applause is deserved by Anubhav Sinha himself for bringing out the best of Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun and Kareen Kapoor.

To conclude, I would say, Ra.One is a complete entertainer this festive season. It is already breaking all the revenue records as compared to other big films not only in India but in the International market as well.

I would rate this movie 4.5 out of 5. A must watch family entertainment.

Tobacco products have been used in India for centuries. The cigarette industry is considered one of the oldest in this country.

India is the second largest manufacturer of cigarette products in the world after China, according to statistics. It produces 572 million kilograms of tobacco annually. The tobacco industry is divided into three completely different sectors: bidis, smokeless tobacco (mostly chewing tobacco) and cigarettes.

In spite of being the second biggest producer, India is only the ninth exporter of tobacco and smoking products in the world after Brazil, China, Italy, Malawi and USA. Nowadays India is exporting tobacco to more than 80 nations all over the world.

Of the total tobacco produced in India, only one-third is flue-cured tobacco that is appropriate for cigarette manufacturing. Most of the tobacco is suitable for the production of chewing tobaccos, bidis and other lower priced smoking products, which are not popular outside the country.

The Indian tobacco market is dominated by the three major tobacco companies, primarily International Tobacco Company (ITC), which is one of the India’s outstanding private sectors with a market capitalization of about US $ 33 billion, a return of US $ 7 billion and with 72% market share. And the last but not the least important manufacturers are – Godfrey Phillips with 12% and Vazir Sultan Tobacco Company (VST) with 8% share of the market.

Cigarette advertising contributed to Rs 3000-4000 million every year to the Indian advertising industry, before the ban on tobacco advertising was introduced. However tobacco companies continue advertising and promoting their products through point-of-sale. Besides the local popular cigarette brands as Gold Flake and Wills, such world known smokes as Marlboro already gained big popularity among Indian smokers.

Chewing tobacco is a traditional smoking product in India. Of all tobacco produced in the country approximately 48% are chewing tobacco, 38% bidis, and only 14% regular cigarettes. Thus such products as snuff, chewing tobacco and bidis constitute 86% of India’s entire tobacco production, in comparison to 90% of cigarette production in the rest of the world.

The use of cigarettes in India is merely a tenth of the world average. Cigarette smokers pay about 85% of the total tax proceeds derived from tobacco. Tobacco taxes in India are below the rate advised by the World Bank. For example of the 1.1 billion smokers worldwide, 182 million or 16% live in India thus accounting for about 102 billion cigarettes consumed per year. The recent studies have demonstrated that 44-63% of all men and 12%-31% of all women use some form of tobacco. The smoking rate among teenagers aged 13-15 in 12 Indian states, is higher by 40% than in nine north eastern states.

The World Health Organization and World Bank recommend prohibiting all forms of tobacco promotionand advertising. Such bans could reduce the worldwide demand of tobacco by around 7%. Despite industry denials, the overwhelming majority of independent studies show that tobacco advertising leads to an increase in its consumption.

Advertising Vs. Public Relations. I guess since the time I have come into Journalism, I have always learned that both of these terms are considered as Paid Media and Earned Media respectively. Advertising means huge budgets whereas PR means the tiny ones. Its been like a love and hate relationship between the two for decades. Now the question is what is more effective? Among two which of these offers better ROI? How can we work with both of them together? Should they work together?

I believe, Advertising has been the big brother in the league of this tenuous relationship. No matter its a massive budget or any other super bowl Ad campaign or maybe thousands of You-tube views, advertising always seems to receive better attention from an organization’s point of view. Public Relations, often works better in the back ground. If you have a certain budget cuts, use PR. Want to hire an intern? Easily shift him or her in the PR team.

But now the things seems to be changing. Google being the dominant player in the search engine industry never aired a single TV ad until last year’s super bowl. Companies now use strategic leaks for their product launches. For the 1st time in 20 years I have seen Pepsi took a back step for the $4M super bowl ad and instead used their $20M into the Pepsi refresh projects all over the world. I mean what was the use of this? Do we call this a beginning or the end of an advertising era?

Of course not. No doubt, Social Media has brought a lot of changes in the advertising industry, no matter old schools likes it or not. Now days advertisers in order to succeed in the competitive world, taking lessons from their PR brethren. I personally believe that a PR person is a better option for using social media instead of any advertising company because its in their ability to maintain and built relationships.

I would like to share some areas where advertising industry can do well if they follow the tracks of Public Relations:

1.) Advertising should be looked as a goal, like a means to an end and not an end itself. It should focus more on views, friends and tweets rather focusing on sales, revenues and market values. An ad campaign is not successful because it had a millions of You-Tube views, it was successful because it led to larger sales and excessive customer loyalty.

2.) Honesty is the best policy in Advertising. I have always noticed that the trust of consumer in advertising is low as compared to PR. When it comes to any company, I can trust anyone, other than you. Just create the boastful and deceptive message for the audience and be honest about your strength and ofcourse your weakness too. Suppose something is going wrong, you should tell me why it is going wrong and what are you doing to improve it. And please never gloss about it and put the blame on someone else.

3.) When you are into advertising, always remember that 50% of 10,000 > 1% of 50,000. In advertising there is no restriction for budgets unlike PR. If you just go and produce an ad and hoping to get 1 or 2% returns because of that ad, then I am sorry, I don’t think these things work anymore. In fact, spend more time in crafting messages that would have direct impact on the audience. .

4.) Being Human. No, I am not talking about Salmaan Khan’s charity house. Corporations will never work on the tunes of new networked conversations.

5.) Bring solutions and not problems. Spending millions and showing to your customer that how fantastic your product or customer service is really out of fashion. I ll give you an example here. Virgin America’s budget is far way less than American Airlines. Yet, Virgin America manages to win in terms of customer service, customer experience and customer satisfaction.

As the years pass by, advertising and PR are bound to work together more and more. Each one of will learn from each other more and more. Without one, the other is incomplete.

Its been almost five days and India is getting habituated to wake up without Steve Jobs. His company, Apple Inc. has always treated its Indian customers with disdain because here the products were launched months after their international release. Yet, I can see more than 90% of the country mourning on his death like the rest of the world. The studies recently showed that Steve Jobs was very closely related to India in the 70′s even before he founded Apple. Like many others, it was a bitter relationship that he shared with India.

That time young Jobs was working with a video game company called “Atari” and visited India with his friend Dan Kottke. To be precise, both of them were in India between the year 1974 and 1976 and most of the time they were traveling in Northern part of the country. It is found that he was too mystified by the philosophies here which increased his quest for learning. He was always interested in solving the unanswered questions of Science.

I am sure most of us do not know that Steve Jobs had his own autobiography written called “iCON” which was not released officially. There Kottke states, “ He was always eager to go to India and solve the unresolved pain. It was during this time when he also hired private investigator to track down his mother “

He stayed in New Delhi for a while and used to wear lungi and go bare foot there. He always used to embrace the culture of Indian heritage. All he discovered was that India is bundled with beggars on the street and it was during that time when he learned about the poverty of India.

But I guess worse things were awaiting him. He went to Nainital with Kottke and there they met a holy man who was known as “Neem Karoli baba” and was actually a fraud and by the time Jobs realized it was too late. It was that time when Steve realized that maybe Thomas Edison has done a lot more than Karl Max to improve the world and this Neem Karoli baba just added the fruit to it.

By now Jobs was too sure about the spirituality of India. The emotional turmoil has now taken place of physical discomfort. Both Steve and his friend was down with fever due to unforgiving Indian summer. Kottke described this time as the worst phase of their journey and prayed to any God that could hear them to help them with this fatigue.

After few days they both decided to travel in the beautiful valleys of Manali and finally all their fatigue and problems disappeared.

These incidents proved that India traumatized Jobs a lot and changed his life. He also learned a lot about Buddhism.

After spending a year or two in India, he finally joined back Atari where he met his high school mate Steve Wozniak who was then working with Hewlett Packard. Both of them together started a venture called Apple Computer inside Jobs garage in California, Palo Alto to be precise.

I am not sure, Steve Jobs always less favored India maybe because he had to suffer so much frustration and chaos in India.

No matter what the reason is you will always be missed. RIP Steve Jobs, a true iCON for me at least.

Sometimes when you innovate, you make mistakes. It is best to admit them quickly, and get on with improving your other innovations. ~ Steve Jobs

On April 3rd, 2011, the first SlutWalk was held which was arranged by co-founders Heather Jarvis and Sonya Barnett at Queen’s Park (Toronto) where almost 3,000 women from all over the world participated. I remember I read about Constable Michael Sanguinetti in Toronto who gave a long speech at a University Safety Forum for Crime Prevention and quoted that “Women should avoid dressing like sluts in order to not be victimized”. I don’t know but his remarks totally sparked off the idea of slutwalk.

What were the the objectives?

Mainly to eradicate the term “slut” which has always been used negatively against women for centuries.

The meeting was also called to prevent “slut-shamming” and to protest against excusing rape and not to refer the term rape to any aspect of woman’s appearance.

To give the term “slut” a different spin and to make it appropriate with male terms.

What does these people do?

Basically there are rallies and marches in protest. In these rallies, women gathers, dressed provocatively to make it a point for men and against the term “slut”. In these speeches, women are warned and taught that they should be in charge of their own sexuality.

Who is upset with this?

Already many objections have been raised against the concept of slutwalk. What I believe is that the guidance which is given to women to dress in public or in offices is simply a matter of risk management and not any form of victim blaming.

By using the word “slut”, women are once again defining their sexuality in male terms and in short internalizing their abuse. It is very important for women to create their own authentic sexuality and give a damn to male defined terms like “slut”. It often gives birth to promiscuity and is always harmful for our society’s moral standards.

Slutwalk is now welcomed in New Delhi

Once again in India, social media gave rise to beginning of slutwalk. The first sign was seen through social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter about the entire phenomenon. It was brought in New Delhi by a 19 year old Kamala Nehru college student, Umang Sabhrawal. With her efforts and hard work, the movement has already gained a lot of momentum and supporters.

Well in India, the name of Slutwalk has been changed to “Besharmi Morcha” i.e. Shameless Walk. The original objective of SlutWalk was to eradicate the term “Slut” with all inappropriate meanings. In India it is mainly used by the upper middle class and upper class sections. In India the term “besharam” will be more powerful term than “slut” and will be identified by a larger section of women.

It was actually planned to start the walk on 25th June, 2011 which is now been postponed to end of July. Already more than 15,000 people, both men and women, have confirmed the registration.

Like in other countries, in India, also SlutWalk has sparked off a number of debates already. The main reason in India is the dress code in offices. The organizers are trying to adjust themselves as per the sensibilities of the women in the capital city. They have already confirmed to women that they don’t need to wear provocative clothes in order to participate the rally.

New Delhi has always been unsafe for women and a Slut Walk in a city like this is definitely a symbol of Pride and Confidence. It is nothing but a way of taking back what has been taken away from a women always. What we should expect to see is that how far this walk brings revolution in our country? Remember the “pink chaddi” campaign which turned out to be a huge success and that is because it was carried out at the right time and in the right manner.

After all youth movements always create lasting impact on our society.

The entire discussion of a slutwalk in New Delhi arose when Umang was discussing about the Toronto slutwalk on Facebook. She thought that India needs its own slut walk. I am sure this one event will not change everything so soon. But this event will at least let people know what is wrong and it will make them face the facts that women are facing in our society.

There is no harm in wearing any kind of clothes in office. I am sure the protest march will make other women feel the same. But I just want to inform the women class that whatever you do, whatever you wear, “men will always be men”. We can never change the mentality of the men.

We should also not forget that this walk is not only for clothes women are wearing in the office, it is also about woman’s right to be free and independent in the society and to be in control of their own sexuality. Instead of controlling woman’s action and clothes, we should work towards teaching the men how to respect women and her body.

Welcome to UPA’s second rule
which happened to be so cool
it has used the common man only as a tool
and the poor Indians became a thought of a fool

its been 2 years now and they celebrating their second reign,
please aware them of common man’s pain

Since the time they have been there
please have a look of all what we had to bear:

Ashok Chavan was held responsible for stealing flats
He hides and lies about all the facts
He was supposed to become the chief minister
instead he was given the name of the Adarsh trickster

The public of India now calls him as a thief minister
He should know that those flat are of poor army,
Thank god I am not a soldier,
or else he would have grabbed my home and harm me.

This person was responsible for organising common wealth games,
instead he played his own common wealth games
He has hidden all the money for which he went to the prison
Stealing country’s money is nothing, but a sort of treason.
His name is Mr. Suresh Kalmadi,
we made him organise the CWG which was nothing
but a monumental tragedy.

how can we forget, Lalit Bhanot, his deputy,
he can only remember the word beauty.
paisa itna khaya ki Lalit mota hogaya,
Lo ji, apne desh ka paisa desh wale ne hi chori kar liya.

please welcome Andimuthu Raju,
2G spectrum ka chief maharaja
DMK is so pissed that their kani is in Jail,
Poor Ram Jethmalani couldnt even get her a bail.
Who cares that she stole India’s money?
Forget Kanimozhi, I have kept her new name i.e. Kani-money

We have our United Progressive Alliance.
Well we can see unity and we see an alliance.
But where is the Progression?
with an hardcore Combination,
Of ultimate sucking Inflation ,
It is nothing but an old good old Corruption.

This poor man had to stop eating
To remind our government from cheating!

Kapil Sibal is nothing but a breast beating,
He’ll do anything to for the Lokpal’s defeating.

CD’s are made by Amar Singh,
Phone calls are caught by Digvijay Singh ,
No wonder “Singh is King, Singh is King, Singh is King”

Its not only me who is complaining against the UPA,
How can we forgot the misdeeds against the NDA and 26/11
The only duty Chidambaram follows is to “condemn” 24/7

The Americans so easily entered into Pakistan,
Almost like a Shaktimaan,
They KILLED Osama,
Because that courageous decision was made by President Obama.

On the other hand, we cant even hang Kasab or Afzal Guru
Darte hai humare neta, na jaane kya ho jaye shuru.

Saalo tum sirf darte raho,
aur darr bhagane ke liye mountain dew peete raho.
Sara jeevan darr darr kar jeeyo
aur chullu bhar paani mein jakar doob maro.

She is a politician, poet, feminist, painter, firebrand orator, social worker and an attorney, she is today the best example of a leadership for the students of IIM’s. There is no reason why anyone wouldn’t want to step into her shoes, well am sorry, hawaii chappals. The assembly results on Friday in West Bengal will decide the fate amongst many other things and also the future cost of the Left parties. I have already been watching the news channels where it shows a positive results of the exit polls to make a clean sweep by Trinamool Congress headed by our own didi (as she is better known as in West Bengal). But things are not so easy as it seems. There is still a flicker of belief and hope for the Left when the forecast of Kerala is concerned.

I personally want that the congress led UDF should form the government in Bengal but there are some psephologist who on the basis of their polls are very confident that Achutanadan can win it for LDF all alone with his honest profile image for the second consecutive time. Ofcourse we cannot predict on the basis of these people and we have to wait and watch how things take their own shape, but one thing is for sure i.e. Left is on the back foot as of now no matter they are part of an alliance expected to win in the districts of Tamil Nadu and Pudicherry.

Its been almost 34 years that CPI (M) has been controlling the government in Kolkata and with this the Left’s control in Bengal will be one of the most phenomenal development in the history of country’s democracy. I still remember before the six phase poll was announced, the CPI (M) themselves accepted the truth of their diminishing popularity. This happened because large number of party nominees diverted their mind to congress. This truth is essential because it was accepted by themselves in front of entire media.

Another important point is that the forces which are resisting the changes cannot survive for too long especially in states like Bengal. There was a time when the entire generation was in support of the red flag and many of these people din’ t even realise that winds of change were blowing in their surroundings itself. I personally respect few Left leaders and its high time for them to introspect the parties.

The policies of Left are now flawed and some of its leaders shows needless arrogance which are not accepted by the masses any more. I have no problems with Buddhadeb Bhattacharya, he is in deed a well meaning man and a respectful leader but the problem is in his party that has not been able to live up to the expectations of the people as promised.

Left needs to understand that change in Kolkata is very natural and it is the best time to freeze Kolkata. This city in particular has a whole new generation and it has to be one of the best cities of the countries. Kolkata have to keep abreast from the entire nation rather than being addicted to an outdated ideas and beliefs.

Now we just need to wait and watch the reaction of Left and how they cope up after their defeat in Bengal on Friday. I personally wish Mamata Banerjee a very bright future ahead who has singularly shown that if you determination and courage, nothing can stop you from rising high. Well goes with her party’s slogan in bengali “CPI (M) dekhe ja Momtar Khomta” which means CPI (M) dont ever challenge the courage and determination of Mamata.
