On this Independence day I decided that I will personally pay tribute to all those heroes who sacrificed their lives so that we can sleep in peace for rest of our lives. I am talking about those national heroes who we can never forget, who made us proud by winning the battle of Kargil.

Kargil war better known as the Kargil conflict was the war between India and Pakistan that happened during July, 1999. The main cause of the war was the infiltration of Pakistani soldiers and militants into Line of Control (LOC) which serves as a border between two states.
Two great congress leaders from the country expressed in the Press Meet that, “Kargil war victory was nothing to be celebrated. The war took place within the territory. We were not even aware when Pakistani militants entered in our country and built bunkers.”
This is nothing. Our own ex-home minister Mr. Prakash Jaiswal has no idea about the Vijay Diwas. When asked when it is celebrated. He was blank and started asking press reporters why do we celebrate it. These are our national ministers. I feel ashamed to be a part of a country where the ministers don’t even respect our freedom fighters and their bravery.
Our own Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who is so famous for traveling was very busy in celebrating the 220th anniversary of the Bastille Day in Paris but had not a single second to come and participate the 10th anniversary of the Kargil war. Salute to the ministers like these.
These acts demoralizes the spirit of the soldiers who are sacrificing their lives for us, so that we can rest in peace. Please guys you should take pride in being a part of such a country. I don’t care for the ministers. They are the main culprits. It is because of them today we are having so much issues with Pakistan.
It is very surprising for me that people have got no time to remember our national heroes. All they care about is Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra. I wanted to share some pictures of Kargil with all of you. I hope you all will like it.
